Spend a couple of hours under the expert guidance of ‘Tree Lord’ Patrick in a beautiful, ancient, 1000 year old broadleaved woodland. Learn how every tree species had its own specific quality and use and how they were the basis of much of our early social development. This exciting insight into woodland management from traditional methods to modern markets will show how we can combine conservation provision with economic viability.
Suitable for all ages and for anyone who wants to know more and understand our woodlands, oldest habitats, – their wildlife and protection.
Children must be accompanied by a full paying adult
The Foragers Retreat licensed Cafe is open from 8am -4pm on Sundays for breakfast/brunch all day & lunch.
Due to uneven ground this walk is unsuitable for wheelchair users.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing.
